This is not medical advice
Everything on this site is general information about facilities and about hyperbaric oxygen therapy as a field. It is not a diagnosis, not a treatment recommendation, and not a substitute for assessment by a qualified doctor who knows your history. Do not start, stop or delay any treatment on the strength of something you read here.
We do not endorse or accredit
Being listed here means a facility appeared in our source data, or was submitted to us and confirmed as existing. It does not mean we have inspected the chamber, checked staff credentials, audited outcomes or confirmed licensing. We are not an accreditation body and we have no inspection powers.
What “Featured Listing” means
Some listings carry a Featured Listing label. That describes where the listing appears on this site, and nothing else. A featured listing is promoted across the directory: it is shown alongside other states and categories, appears on other facility pages, and is placed first in the full directory.
It is a commercial and editorial placement, not an assessment. It is not an inspection of the chamber, a check of anyone's clinical credentials, a review of treatment outcomes, a confirmation of licensing or registration, and it is not a judgement that the centre is better than any other in this directory. Read the label as “this listing is promoted”, never as a recommendation.
Treatment scopes are the facility's own words
Where a listing says a centre treats something, that reflects how the facility describes its own scope. It is not a claim by us that hyperbaric oxygen is effective for that condition.
Some uses of HBOT rest on an established evidence base; others - including several marketed as longevity, anti-ageing or general wellness - do not. Where a centre lists a use, check with them and with your own doctor what evidence supports it for your case.
Risks exist
Hyperbaric treatment is a medical procedure with real risks, including ear and sinus barotrauma, and it is not appropriate for everyone. Any facility worth attending will screen you for contraindications before your first session and will be able to explain what they screen for.
Checking all of this is your responsibility, not ours. We do not screen patients, assess whether a treatment suits you, or examine how any centre practises. Before you book, ask the centre directly about the chamber and the pressure they will use, how they screen for contraindications, who supervises the session, what it costs and what they expect it to achieve for your condition. Ask anything else that matters to you, and satisfy yourself with the answers before going ahead.
If a detail on a listing affects your decision, confirm it with the centre before you rely on it. We publish what a facility tells us and what our sources say; we cannot answer for their clinical judgement, their equipment or their conduct.
Getting things corrected
If you are a facility and something here about you is wrong, or if you are a reader who has spotted an error, tell us and we will check it against the operator and correct it.
